We first noticed this tall drink of yum when he won a bronze medal as part of the U.S. relay team and we thought, wow…who’s that guy? 

Then, last night, Nathan Adrian came out of nowhere to become the first American in 24 years to win a gold medal in the 100 meter freestyle, beating out the favorite, Australian world champion, James Magnussen.  And as he and the rest of America celebrated his victory, everything went into slow-mo for us and it was then that we knew, this feeling we feel? It’s love…or a really good facsimile of love. It doesn’t matter because erhmergherd! LOOK AT HIM!
