So here’s the deal you guys, I’m moving in less than a week to a beautiful place called San Luis Obispo. You may have heard of it, it’s the Happiest City in The U.S. and was featured on Oprah. Needless to say I cannot wait to get there! We feel very fortunate and lucky to be living in such a beautiful place and I also get to be neighbors with one of my bestest friends.

A couple weeks ago, said best friend texted me a little ditty she heard on the local news, apparently, San Luis Obispo was looking for a SLO Ambassador – someone that could represent the city online to attract visitors to take a gander at SLO on their next vacation.  The SLO ambassador will participate in local events, restaurants, night life, etc and blog about it online. Said friend said, “This shit would be f*kin perfect for YOU!” (Yes, she does kiss her mother AND her husband with that mouth)

Despite the earful of sailor talk, I agreed! I’ve always wanted Samantha Brown’s job – in fact, I tried to be the Dollar Store Samantha Brown and make my own show, which failed every which way. WATCH IT HERE,  and feel free to laugh and  point (I did).  But since Samantha Brown still looks healthy, her job probably won’t be up for grabs for years unless I Nancy Kerrigan’ her, which would only incapacitate her for a few weeks.  SO being an ambassador for SLO is a WONDERFUL great alternative!  My hippie self was elated at the fact that the contest came up just as I was moving there – gotta be a sign right? I hope so!

But check it, you guys can help me out by watching my video and voting for it everyday until February 18th!! I’m WAAAAY behind so I really need everyone’s help.  Since I was busy packing, I wasn’t able to post it up until today and a lot of people posted it up this past Friday so I have a lot of catching up to do!
